We offer a lively, sporting and friendly group with excellent facilities on offer. All members are welcome - beginners, improvers or experienced members - there are no restrictions on the numbers of players. The overall aims are to socialise, exercise and improve Table Tennis skills through challenging others and have fun whilst keeping fit. Equipment is provided. There is plenty of opportunity to compete at varying levels of play, either as singles or doubles.

It is preferable if players bring their own bats, however we can provide these for anyone who does not already have one.

When first attending, members will be asked to provide details of their U3A membership.

*Drinks/biscuits are provided at both venues.

Marks Tey Parish Hall

This venue offers a large space with our own seven tables. All equipment is provided. The venue has ample car parking and is very easy to reach, being just off of the A12 at junction 25 (A120) on the Old London Road.

We play on 1st, 3rd Mondays, and when applicable 5th Mondays of the month (not August Bank Holiday).

Marks Tey venue offers play between 1pm and 3:30pm – players arrive when they wish during this period. We usually welcome around 30+ players.

The fee for this venue is £3 per person

Rowhedge Village Hall (Rectory Road)

This venue offers a large space with up to seven tables, and opportunities to play singles, with occasional qualified coaching provided.

We meet here on 2nd and 4th Mondays from 11:30 to 1:45 and the fee for this venue is £3 per person. Plenty of parking space.

Please do be aware this is a fast moving, competitive sport and each player needs to confirm for themselves that they are fully fit to balance, turn and move quickly around the tables.
