WHO CAN JOIN STANWAY u3a?
Anyone residing in Stanway and its surrounding
locality in their "Third Age" can join our u3a, whether you are retired, semi-retired or not in full time employment. "Third Age" being the period after the first age of childhood dependence and the second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility.
All you need is interest, enthusiasm and willingness to join in.
No qualifications are required, no examinations are held and no certificates are awarded.
Our activities depend on our members volunteering to organise and participate in our meetings, activities and events.
If you'd like further information you can attend one of our Monthly Meetings (see Events page) as a guest and speak to current members and our Membership Secretary.
You must be a current member to then regularly participate in any u3a activities, to receive Newsletters, and to be covered by u3a Public Liability Insurance.
