EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OPPORTUNITIES
Members are elected to serve on the Executive Committee for a limited time as outlined in our Constitution. We need more members willing to help spread the load as several members are carrying out more than one role and/or their time on the committee is nearing an end. They meet monthly via ZOOM to review current and planned activities and events, and financial matters.
You can volunteer to shadow existing Executive Committee members to see what is involved before committing to take on any of the roles and responsibilities. Alternatively consider becoming a deputy to help out and share some of their responsibilities.
To find out more, send a message to our Business Secretary to express an interest, or speak to any Committee member at one of our Monthly Meetings.
SUPPORT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES - CAN YOU HELP?
Stanway u3a couldn't exist without members coming forward to help. It can be very rewarding to get involved in managing and running your u3a, even in a small way.
Various roles are available and deputies are always needed to shadow/cover for absences etc, which need not take up a lot of your time.
Any help is welcome, especially in the areas below:

- Chairs and tables and refreshments at your Monthly Meetings and Social Xtra events are only there because we have a core of members willing to lend a hand. However we do need more volunteers, so if you can help at any of these events, even occasionally, you will be most welcome. YOU WILL NOT BE EXPECTED TO HELP OUT AT EVERY EVENT, only those you are able to support. To find out more, send a message to Nigel your Volunteers Co-ordinator to express an interest or have a word with him or a Committee member at one of our meetings.
- Your Social Squad which organises your Social Xtra events can always use extra help and ideas for future events. They meet monthly via ZOOM and as the need arises. To find out more, send a message to your Social Squad to express an interest, or speak to a Committee member at one of our meetings.
