Our guest speaker for our October Social Xtra is John Rosie of the Braintree Beekeepers Association. John is an enthusiastic hobbyist beekeeper. We are increasingly aware of the importance of Bees, but a British Beekeepers initiative is now actively encouraging schools and community groups, like us to become more bee friendly and aware of the importance of all pollinators. Essentially, become ‘friends of the honeybee’.

The talk will be illustrated with slides and video clips, and John is happy to take questions both during and after the talk.

Doors open 1.30pm. Join us for Tea, Coffee & Biscuits and chat to friends after the talk.

Admission & refreshments free!
