Are you looking to test your word knowledge? Do you enjoy being competitive, or do you just prefer to play board games just for fun? Well, this is a group you would enjoy whichever you are looking for. Scrabble is the name of the game and there is a place waiting for you at whatever level you prefer to play.

This group has been running since the formation of Stanway U3A and has players of varying levels of skill. It is played in the comfort of co-ordinator's home and after your first game there is a break for refreshments and a sociable chat before the cut and thrust of a second game.

Everybody plays at the same time and there is no sitting-out as several boards are in use simultaneously.

The group meets on the 3rd Thursday each month in Lexden.
